Quantify the Business Outcome, Not Just the Analysis

State the decision or dollar impact your analysis drove — a pricing change, a feature rollout, a cost reduction — rather than just describing the SQL or dashboard involved, since outcome framing separates analysts from tool operators.

Detail an A/B Test You Owned

Describe a specific experiment you designed, including the hypothesis, sample size consideration, and result, to prove you understand statistical rigor rather than just pulling reports on request.

Show Dashboard Adoption, Not Just Creation

Cite how many stakeholders or teams use a Tableau or Power BI dashboard you built and maintain, since sustained adoption proves the dashboard actually changed how people work, not just that it exists.

Is Power BI or Tableau better to list if I know both?

List both, but lead with whichever you've used more recently or extensively, and name a specific dashboard from each; employers usually care more about your modeling and visualization judgment than your tool preference.

Should I pursue a Tableau Data Analyst certification at this stage?
