What to write
Plain sentences are fine. The draft is only as specific as what you tell it, so name names and give years.
Each job
Your title, the employer, the years, and what you did there. A sentence or two per role is plenty.
Schools and credentials
Degrees with the school and year, plus any licences or certifications you hold.
Skills and results
The tools you use and anything you can count: people trained, budgets run, time saved.
Your facts, not the model’s
A resume with an invented number is worse than one without it. The builder follows four rules.
- Every employer, school, date and credential comes from what you wrote.
- Where a bullet needs a number you didn’t give, it says [metric] for you to fill in.
- Anything it was unsure of is flagged in the editor for you to confirm.
- Single column, standard headings, real text: built for applicant tracking systems.

AI resume builder FAQ
Is the AI resume builder free?
Yes. Writing the draft needs no account, no card and no email. Editing it and downloading it as a PDF or Word file are free with a free account.
Will it make things up?
No. It uses the employers, schools, dates and credentials you give it and nothing else. Where a bullet would be stronger with a number you didn’t mention, it writes [metric] so you can put in the real figure.
What should I write?
Each job with its title, employer and years, then your education, certifications and skills. A few honest sentences per role are enough; the more specific you are, the stronger the draft.
Is the resume ATS-friendly?
Yes. The Classic template is a single column of real text with standard section headings, the layout applicant tracking systems parse most reliably.
What happens to what I write?
The draft is kept for 24 hours so you can claim it when you create an account, then deleted if you don’t. It is never sold or shared, and never used to train AI models.
I already have a resume. Should I use this?
Upload it to the free AI resume review instead. It scores the resume you have and writes out every fix, and your account can open it in the editor too.
